Free Walk-In Testing Event Offered in Waverly

Black Hawk County Public Health, in partnership with Bremer County Health Department, is offering free and confidential testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV, and Hepatitis C on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 301 1st St. NW, Waverly, IA, 50677.

No appointment is needed, and all services are available on a walk-in basis. Testing is quick, private, and provided by trained public health professionals. The last patient will be accepted at 1:30 p.m. Attendees should enter through Door #4 of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

While supplies last, individuals who complete a test will receive a free $20 gift card.
