- Black Hawk County Public Health exists to ensure that people in our community have equitable opportunities and resources to lead healthier, more fulfilling, and longer lives. Data presented in the Health Equity fact sheet demonstrates disparities that exist across social, economic,and environmental factors as well as for health behaviors and outcomes.
