Our Mobile Health Clinic Has Arrived!

Access to quality healthcare should be available to everyone. That’s why Black Hawk County Public Health is excited to introduce its new mobile health clinic, designed to bring essential health services directly to the community.

Preventive care and early treatment play a crucial role in improving overall well-being. Our mobile health clinic will provide convenient and confidential healthcare, ensuring community members receive vital services without barriers.

Services Available (May Vary By Event):

Depending on event and location, the mobile clinic can provide the following services to eligible individuals: 

‍

• Immunizations through the Vaccines for Children Program (Ages 0-18)

• Oral Health Screenings (Ages 0-20)
• Blood Lead Testing (Ages 0-6)

• Immunizations through the Vaccines for Adults Program (Ages 19 and Older)
• HIV/STI Screenings
• Free Condoms

• ‍Harm reduction kits

Through partnerships we can make an even bigger impact on the health of the community. A certificate of insurance is required for any location where the mobile health clinic will be parked. For details on this insurance requirement, visit the Black Hawk County website. A completed partner agreement is also required. Both the certificate of insurance and the partner agreement will be requested after staff have reviewed the digital request.

Upcoming Events

Come see us at one of the below events for Free HIV, STI, and Hepatitis C testing. Free naloxone kits will also be available. Services are available on a walk-in, first-come, first-served basis. Events are weather permitting. Visit our clinic website for Hepatitis C eligbility.
